Dom and Kate’s Wedding at Rye Hill Barn, Wiltshire
On the morning of Dom and Kate’s wedding, I met Kate and her bridesmaids at their stunning flat in the centre of Bath. The morning light was gorgeous, beaming through the huge shuttered windows on either side of the flat.
The atmosphere was incredibly calm when I arrived, Kate was having her makeup finished by the talented Ruth Tong and the bridesmaids were calmly preparing themselves in the neighbouring room. Once everyone was ready, Kate revealed her magnificent flowing dress to her father and the bridesmaids where everyone was fighting back the tears! There was then a dash for the St Luke’s Church where Dom was also calmly waiting, despite Kate being a bit late!
After the service, everyone left for Rye Hill Barn, a relatively new wedding venue set within a 400-acre farm and situated amongst the rolling hills of the Wiltshire Downs. The wedding breakfast in the 18th-century barn. As you entered, you immediately embraced the 100ft long beams, draped with gorgeous voile fabric and fairy lights, Kate and Dom added stunning deep orange and red flower arrangements around the edges, along with personalised details made by Kate to really bring their theme to life.
The night ended with firepits, a noodle bar and some impressive dancing!
