WILDLY IN LOVE

UK & DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Capturing moments and creating memories all over the world

No couple or wedding are the same and I believe your wedding photography should reflect that. As your wedding photographer, I take a personal approach to discovering who you are as a couple and what’s important to you.

Sometimes it’s hard to describe what exactly you’re looking for in your wedding photography. With social media displaying 1000’s of wedding photographers in Somerset all using buzz words: reportage, documentary, fine art or traditional, sometimes it can be difficult to pinpoint exactly what it is that you’re looking for. That’s why I do not limit my style to one category. With my unique approach, I aim to get the perfect mix of capturing moments as they unfold, a selection of special portrait shots and those stunning landscape scene setters that everyone wants to hang on their wall.

Every wedding is different and every couple is different, so I don’t believe in a one size fits all package.  I want to understand your goals, resolve your fears and create work that shows the real you.  Using my skills, I create imagery that will help you relive the moments, letting you see how much fun everybody had and just how good everyone looked, including you!

The most important thing for me is that you are relaxed and enjoy your day!

Somerset & Destination Wedding Photographer

Your big day isn’t just YOUR big day.

It’s a big day for the mothers, who are seeing their children enter a new chapter of their life.

For the fathers, who are letting go of the little toddlers they used to lift in their arms.

For the best man, who’s seen his best friend through many first dates until he went on his last first date.

For the maid of honour, who’s laughed, cried and danced with her best friend through the past breakups until she finally met The One.

Your big day is a big day for everyone. They will have their own little moments of remembering old memories and making new ones.

As a wedding photographer, it’s my job to capture them for you, so that you don’t miss any moments while you enjoy yours. I’ll be behind the scenes so that you can be front-and-centre.

And when you relive your big day as you look through the photos, you’ll see just how much love there was for you even when you weren’t in the room.

I am hugely privileged to be able to travel all over the South West, the UK and overseas capturing the magic that happens as two become one.  It’s a real honour to be trusted to capture the love, joy and emotion of the most important day of my couple’s lives.

Investing in beautiful and timeless images that tell the story of your wedding day is in my opinion crucial.  Wedding photography goes far beyond having a few nice photos of your day.  Good wedding photography is very emotive, it tells the story of your day naturally as it unfolds with high quality and beautiful images.  When you look back at your wedding photographs, you are not just shown how you looked in a precise moment, but you are instantly transported back to how you felt the very second each image was taken.

After the day, it will be the photographs that you will turn to when you want to relive your day.  Treasured memories for the rest of your lives that will then be passed down through the generations.  I also capture the moments in your wedding you may have missed, your mother’s tears as you said your vows, one of your bridesmaids mounting a space hopper, the look on your nan’s face as she hugged you, your friends taking shots at the bar.  These tiny moments all add up to the story of your wedding.  They are memories that are so easily forgotten if not captured.  Out of all of the investments that you make for your wedding day, it is the photography that will last the longest.

Wedding photography starts and ends with you, which is why I take a bespoke approach to every wedding I photograph.  No two weddings are the same as no two stories are the same.

Feel free to get in touch if you think that I could be the person to tell yours…

We asked Patrick to do our wedding photography after we had looked at some of his pictures on his website. Patricks portfolio was exactly what we were looking for, relaxed and natural. We knew this would fit in with ‘our day’ perfectly. He did an amazing job. From the very first consultation right up to the big day we found Patrick really approachable and very easy to chat to. He was very discreet and took the most amazing photographs for us. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Patrick to our friends and family. Thank you Patrick!

Lee & Suzie

"We found Patrick's website and having liked his portfolio we booked him to photograph our wedding and we couldn't recommend him enough. He's relaxed and friendly but also very thorough and makes sure he not only understands what you want but also the venue and the routine for the day. This means that he is very discreet (some of our guests didn't even realise there was a photographer) yet captures all the important moments."

Alex & Jessie

We are so glad that we went with Wildly In Love for our wedding photography on 8th May. Patrick was so helpful and friendly from day one and was great to work with when trying to plan through all the ups and downs of the pandemic. He was brilliant on the day and managed to get some amazing shots, all in spite of bad weather and us being far from naturals in front of a camera! Patrick really put us at ease and we could not be happier with the photos. Thanks again Patrick!

Rhys & Bryony

We had the most wonderful engagement shoot with Patrick! My partner and I aren’t keen on having our photos taken but Patrick made us feel comfortable straight away. He helped us choose a beautiful location that resembled us perfectly as a couple.
We would 100% recommend Patrick for your big day. Our photos are so beautiful and he has made them into a cherished memory.

Chris & Lotty

Patrick was simply amazing and we thank him for capturing our special day in such a personal way. COVID 19 prevented our day from going as originally planned but Patrick was attentive and accommodating. At short-notice he arrived to truly capture the character of our relationship and our Wedding Day. Thank you

Lee & Karen

In Patrick we found our perfect wedding photographer. He listened to what we wanted, got to know us and managed to capture the love, fun and laughter of a small family wedding. Half the time we weren't even aware he was there, the results are some very beautiful photos that not only capture the magic of the day, but also make it very difficult too choose favourites, there are so many! Can't recommend him highly enough, thank you Patrick for helping to make our day extra special.
